Sri Lankan Ambassador in Bahrain addresses the Ramadan Ambassador Council Programme


Ambassador of Sri Lanka to the Kingdom of Bahrain Reethisri Wijeratne Mendis was once invited to the “Ramadan Ambassador Council” programme, arranged through the Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa Academy for the Diplomatic Research (MBMA) of the Kingdom of Bahrain on 28 March 2024.

The consultation was once moderated through the Director-Common of the Academy Dr. Shaikha Muneera bint Khalifa Al Khalifa.

Ambassador Reethisri Wijeratne Mendis throughout her presentation deliberated at the historic ties between Bahrain and Sri Lanka, highlighting the growth made through two nations. She additionally stated Bahrain’s position in fighting COVID-19 and expressed hopes for long term collaboration. The Ambassador spoke on Sri Lanka’s international coverage, her occupation adventure, and her reports in international relations and the significance of conversation and generation in world family members.

Ambassador Mendis expressed her deep gratitude to the MBMA for organizing this program, and offering her with the chance to take part in it.

In her concluding remarks Dr. Shaikha Muneera expressed her honest gratitude to Ambassador Reethisri Wijeratne Mendis for her treasured contribution. She additional said that the MBMA is having a look ahead for additional collaboration with the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Bahrain.
